Emcell 271

EMCELL 271 is a Hydroxy Ethyl Methyl Cellulose (HEMC). EMCELL 271 was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives, especially for standart grade tile adhesive (C1). Good water retention, good slip resistance. It also exhibits good work ability. The selected particle size distribution guarantees quick or lump free dissolution. It is compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders. EMCELL 271 is intended for dry mixing with other powder materials and should not be used for directed dissolving in water.

Note: 1: Viscosity was measured in brookfield viscometer with 2% aqueous neutral solution. Brookfield 20°C, 2.55/s
