Emcell 251

EMCELL 251 is a modified Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC).
EMCELL 251 was developed for cement-based applications, like cement-based tile adhesives, especially for standard grade tile adhesive (C1).

Excellent open time. Good water retention. Good slip resistance.

It also exhibits good workability. The selected particle size distribution guarantees quick or lump free dissolution. It is compatible with all conventional mineral and organic binders EMCELL 251 is intended for dry mixing with other powder materials and should not be used for directed dissolving in water.

Note: 1: The viscosity is measured by Brookfield viscometer on conditions of 2% neutral aqueous solution, Brookfield 20°C , 20RPM.
